Dunn School Awarded 2023 Green Impact Gold Award
We are thrilled to announce that the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology has been recognized with the esteemed Green Impact Gold Award for 2023. This accolade, awarded by the National Union of Students (NUS), acknowledges our significant commitment to implementing comprehensive, positive environmental changes throughout our institution.
The Green Impact Gold Award is the highest level of recognition granted under the NUS’s Green Impact initiative. It acknowledges organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to sustainability, going above and beyond to promote eco-friendly practices across all facets of their operations. As a recipient, the Dunn School stands among the foremost institutions championing environmental sustainability in the higher education sector.
The award is a testament to our collective efforts towards creating a more sustainable environment within the Dunn School. It reflects the hard work, dedication, and passion of all our members, including our staff, students, and faculty.
Our journey towards this achievement has involved numerous initiatives led by our diligent Green Group, under the inspiring leadership of Dr Saroj Saurya. From implementing sustainable laboratory practices to fostering environmental education and consciousness, our team has been instrumental in driving forward our green mission.
We are honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to continuing our sustainability journey. The Green Impact Gold Award motivates us to keep pushing boundaries, innovating, and creating new solutions for a sustainable and greener future.
While we celebrate this significant milestone, we understand that sustainability is an ongoing journey. We will continue to strive towards further improving our environmental practices, reducing our carbon footprint, and making a positive impact on our planet.
