Cheers to Anne Hedegaard ! Recycling Awareness Takes Center Stage at Dunn Drinks
Every month, the dedicated groups at Dunn School come together to host the much-anticipated 'Dunn Drinks', generously funded by the department. This time, the James and Gromak labs collaborated to organize a special edition of Dunn Drinks on 26th January 2023.
In a spirited effort to raise environmental awareness, Anne Hedegaard, a proud member of both the James lab and the Green Group, orchestrated a recycling quiz. This engaging activity aimed to enlighten attendees about the various materials that can be recycled in the lab, emphasizing the importance of conscious disposal over incineration.
The event was a resounding success, shedding light on lab recycling practices and inspiring many to reconsider their disposal habits. The competitive spirit was alive and well, with the Raff and Tang labs emerging as joint victors, earning a delectable cake for their lab members to enjoy.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Anne Hedegaard. Her unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, combined with her proactive engagement with colleagues, has made a significant impact. Anne's efforts, which consistently surpass her regular duties, serve as an inspiration to us all. Join us next month as we continue to blend camaraderie with a cause, all in the spirit of sustainability!
