Dunn School Green Group Nominations for the 2022 Vice-Chancellor's Environmental Sustainability Awards

We are incredibly proud to recognise the members of the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology who were nominated for the 2022 Vice-Chancellor's Environmental Sustainability Awards. These individuals have shown an outstanding commitment to promoting and improving environmental sustainability in their roles, and their contributions significantly enhance the efforts of our Green Group.

 

Environmental Sustainability Staff Awards

 

Saroj Saurya: Lab Manager, Sir William Dunn School of Pathology Dr. Saroj Saurya, Chair of the Dunn School's Green Group, was nominated for her tireless efforts in promoting environmental sustainability within the University. Her resolute drive and ability to inspire change made a significant difference in how the department approaches reuse and recycling.

Jo Peel: Executive Assistant to Head of Department, Sir William Dunn School of Pathology Jo Peel's dedication to raising the profile of environmental sustainability led to her nomination. Her efforts in organizing the Dunn School Bike Doctor service and various Green Group events continue to increase engagement and awareness in the department.

Environmental Sustainability Students Awards

Lilli Hahan: DPhil student, Sir William Dunn School of Pathology Lilli Hahan was nominated for her active contribution to the Dunn School Green Group's initiatives. Her involvement in creating an environmental survey, contributing to Green Week, and managing the team’s Twitter account exemplify her commitment to fostering a culture of sustainability within the Dunn School.
