Eco Zone: A Space for Sharing and Sustainability
Located in room 311.30.33 near the EPA round room, the Eco Zone is a key initiative aimed at reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability. The space serves as a hub for sharing surplus items within the Dunn School community.
The Eco Zone provides a range of items freely available to Dunn School staff, students, visitors including room-temperature food such as bread, bakery products, fruits, vegetables, and long-life goods, as well as clothes, plants, paints, flowers, and other reusable items.
The aim of the Eco Zone is to extend the life of usable goods and reduce unnecessary disposal by encouraging sharing within the community. The initiative promotes practical sustainability and enables members of the Dunn School to contribute to environmental conservation through simple everyday actions.
This initiative reflects the Dunn School’s commitment to building a sustainable and environmentally conscious community. Every item shared through the Eco Zone helps reduce environmental impact and supports a more circular approach to resource use.
Please stop by to see what is available, and consider contributing any items you no longer need to help keep the sharing cycle going.
